I'm sitting outside on my computer and I have a visitor here... Woulda been a good pic if this treo didn't totally suck!!

Also I can't reply to emails on versamail. Anyone have the treo and had the same prob?

i have a 650. email works fine. what error do you get?

If you have a regular pop3/smtp account, you have to have some kind of smtp authorization on your mail server otherwise it won't let you relay mail.

Depending on your carrier, you can also use their system for outgoing. Take a look at the smtp servers section at:

The first thing I did with my Treo 650 was toss Versamail and purchase Snappermail

The enterprise version supports IMAP which means that my email is always synced up with my Treo.

And yes, while the camera is better than most other phones, it's still sucky. A flash would go a long way...
