Hate to tell you this but that footage is from the commercials for the toys. Having kids helps you know these things.

Um, 20 years too late wouldn't you think? Hopefully it becomes popular again seeing how I still own almost 90% of all the orginal ones.

Hate to tell you this but there's a teaser trailer at the end of the footage for the actual movie. Watching the whole clip helps you know these things :winkwink:

that bit with the robot dancing is from an advert here in the UK for a car, its a cool advert but i think that video is a fake.

I have the OAV of that one "Macross: Do You Remember Love?" ... it's a good one.. I also hope the Transformers movie will be good.. from what I have heard Spielberg will direct it..

Good thing you saw the commercial. I was expecting for a movie from it.
