owww and I'm using icq 5

never tried on icq but the best way is a pen and paper, i learned my lesson once.

There is a file called historydb in "my documents" that listed (for me) by ICQ number. It will take a lot more time to load them but at least they're there. Hopefully someone has an easier solution :)

Program Files\ICQ\2003b\youricqnumber

there are the dbf files with your contacts.

When reinstalling icq delete this dir, so make a copy every once and a while.
