To funny, the US government, does't like the new TV station for south America
The US governement is afraid they will use this TV station for "bad" things. They approved at the same time a new law, that allows the good (uhm uhm) CNN etc to broadcast more often in those countries.
Does BUSh think he is the "old" USSR? Jeez that the US goverment is getting pathetic every day. Curious when they will invade venuzuela Andre |
well venezuela is a major exporter of oil
so who knows!!! :winkwink: |
Bush attempted an unsuccessful coup d'etat several years ago. Chavez was ousted from office for a few days but came back very strong. The days of gunboat diplomacy are over.
|
Chavez is a fucking commie and should be killed asap :2 cents:
|
do you have a link to this story?

Don`t believe the government propaganda Chavez is spending millions of our money on. |
This fucker has just spent a million dollars sponsoring a samba school for the carnivals in brazil while every week there are protests from people who lost their home in february from a sudden flood and landslides, and they still are living in warehouses.
Just so he can get to go to the sambodromo and get the best seat. And I haven`t even mentioned the kids begging in the streets and the state the hospitals are in. Then he goes spending around 15million dollars on this TV channel,a million for the samba school, more millions buying some country`s debt and giving away our oil to Cuba just so he can keep his boyfriend castro happy. The first transmission of Telesur was an anti-imperialist message and a Che Guevara documentary narrated by Castro. Shit, this makes me angry. |
yes, he bought Argentinian debt.. INSANE hehehe
|
Quote:
Argentina is deep in on Telesur too...have you watched it? |

If you haven't seen it yet, download or order "the Revolution will not be Televised". Best documentary I've ever seen in my life, hands down. |
nop.. i tune out mister Kirchner and his friends (Chavez, Fidel and those) I did get gas on the new joint venture with chavez.. ENARSA.. there is a big sign with the argentinian flag together with the venezuelan one.. and it says.. ENARSA PDVSA.. most cable operators decided not to include telesur in theyr grids.. so its hard to get it also.. thank god..

I was there on that demonstration shown on "The revolution..". I was shot at from the bridge they show on the documentary just for opposing Chavez. Those guys on that bridge weren`t just shooting at the police, they were shooting at the people in the demonstration. It sucks to see your fellow countrymen shooting at each other. It sucks even more to see dead people on the street just because they don`t agree with the government. |

About 2 weeks ago the congress here (chavez dominated) passed a law forbidding any type of public demonstration against government officials. That means that you cannot even "boo" at a government official or you will go to jail They also passed a law aimed at controlling the media. No "inappropriate" or violent content may be shown during the day on TV.Of course, inappropriate means any sort of public demonstrations or protests. Chavez`s popularity took a hard hit in february when during demonstrations agains his government the media filmed a lot of repression and violence. There were 18 people killed and many more wounded by the army and Chavez supporters.Of course , noone has gone to jail for this. |

If I remember correctly, BUSH Inc. has made about three attempts, including one botched assasination. They also tried to shut down the economy a few times. thats not to say Chavez is some kind of angel - because he ain't. :2 cents: |

Haha, of course now I am anti USA. Whatever you want big boy....Oh btw the station was meant to broadcast in South America. And Bush didn't like that idea. Not that ppl may dislike the station...Jeez. Bye bye |

Yes, very funny! A family friend of my girlfriend's moved here from there with her family several years ago and her relatives that are there still are trying to leave ASAP as they say the country is going to hell |

You're a real idiot. The US government has no right to launch coups against democratically elected leaders in other countries. |
Quote:
How come you don't hear about Americans being killed for protesting Bush? By how evil people make Bush out to be, you'd expect to hear more about soldiers shooting people in the streets who demonstrated against him. |
Quote:
And then the USA is "suprised" when there comes a new attack...Oh well |
Quote:
I beleive that the US should stay out of elections, but was he democratically elected? We've also got to look out for our best interests. We can't afford another communist country |
Quote:
And most Americans can't understand why the rest of the world hates them. |
fuck it, let them broadcast whatever bullshit they want... all media is trying to brainwash you one way or the other anyways.

He won with around 56% of the votes with a huge number of people that didn`t vote. I won`t say he didn`t win fair and square. By the time the proposal for the referendum came around people started collecting signatures for activating it.We did it once. The CNE (National electoral council, totally controlled by Chavez) rejected it saying it wasn`t transparent. We collected signatures again under the CNE`s rules, which included publishing all the signatures collected against the president in national media. Now if that isn`t intimidation and totally undemocratic I don`t know what is.How many people do you think that work for the government or had contracts with the government or where remotely connected with it were going to sign?? What about the secrecy of vote? We still did it and collected more than enough signatures. Then came the time for the referendum. The CNE decided to do it with electronic voting machines. No one had the source for the code that ran the machines.Anyone here that has some remote knowledge about computers knows you can program a computer to do anything you want.Still the CNE refused to show the source code saying it was for security reasons. We went to vote.Of course ,Chavez won.Every exit poll by 4pm was saying Chavez had lost in spite of all the obstacles. When an audit of the paper trail these machines left was demanded , the CNE refused again. After 3 weeks and dozens of images in the news of the boxes containing the votes of the people in government offices, they acccepted to do the audit. But only to random boxes chosen, once again, by a program in a computer in the CNE.Of course nothing was amiss. I don`t know about you but this doesn`t seem very democratic to me. The thing is the venezuelan opposition doesn`t have the millions of dollars available to tell the whole story.Chavez on the other hand has millions of dollars of Venezuelan`s money to spread his propaganda and lies around the world. |
Did he just got tired of messing in the middle east so now Bush's next target is South America?
|
Chavez has never actually proven that the coup was actually supported by the U.S. In fact I remember that on the 11th of april after dozens of people had been killed his army general came out on the TV saying he had resigned. This general is still with Chavez and has never explained why he said that on TV.
All that crap about assasination attempts and coups is just all the things Fidel has been teaching him to distract the people in Venezuela that still believe in him from the real truth:that his government is the most corrupt in the history of Venezuela and that he is taking our country to hell fast. |
Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe won by a huge majority and we all know what kind of a shit stain he is. Elections are not about electing a qualified and wise person to lead a country anymore. They are basically worthless as are the people who elected them.
|

And kinda like Fidel, who every year holds mock elections with only his candidates. Why the fuck anyone would support Chavez , who in turn supports one of the most ruthless dictators like Fidel I have no idea. |
someone needs to invade USA
