yeah.. the trick is to have a dual disk setup.. one disk contains the OS the other your data.

Setup the OS disk + your favorite apps and make an image of it.

Next time things get fucked simply install the image and youre back in business within
10 minutes.

I had 3 laptop drives die on me in 7 fucking days at the beginning of this month...

The first was the original drive, no big deal, it happens... The first replacement I bought was faulty and would only show up as 8gb, second replacement lasted for 4 days and then started making loud noises and not powering on... I've been on the third replacement for 2 weeks now, knock on fucking wood.

bro I got the hook up at fryes down here... 30 bucks for 80 gig ones... let me know if you need one.. or if you want an external drive to rock.. I use those with my lappies... 250 gig ones.. I can get those to let me know if you want one I will ship it to you up there in the artic plates
