The SINGLE most important thing I learned in high school.....

The rule of thirds.

Fuck Math, Engrish, & Band Camp......None of that other shit matters to me now.

Only the rule of thirds. :thumbsup

In High school, you and I weighed a third of what we do now? Is that it?

I had an A-/B+ average in Calculus in high school. Haven't used it, except in a classroom. Ever.

But now I'm a pornographer.

I took Calculus to get a scholarship. That worked.

I became a pornographer because, at first, the thought of being paid to photograph naked girls fascinated me more than Calculus ever could.

Now I'm a bit burned out with photographing naked girls so I have my fiancee do 90% of the shooting and I bury myself in my sites. And I love stats. Studying them occupies most of my time now.

I honestly think if I hit the $140 million Mega Millions I'd still do what I'm doing now. I really love this business. I love doing soft-core successfully.

i made my millions. couldn't care less to make any more. there is much more to life than making money, it's just that you have to have the money to realize it in the first place.

KRL 07-23-2005 12:43 AM

The school bully called me out to a fight in the cafeteria. Lots of people were watching as he shoved me in the chest and said, "after school I'm gonna beat the crap out of you". (This ass clown would love to intimidate and scare all the kids smaller than him).

So I decided to be bold and do the thing he was least expecting. I reached up grabbed and locked my hand against his throat with all my might and said "fuck after school big shot let's do it now". His eyes were bulging from the grip I had and he was turning red. His head turned side to side as everyone in the cafeteria started laughing their heads off and clapping. I shoved him back by the throat and let go.

He never bothered me again. :pimp

The SINGLE most important thing I learned in high school...

...was probably how to put on a condom properly. AIDS was not yet a concern, but making sure you didn't get girls pregnant was.

Is don't take shit from anyone. Once people now they can mess with you they'll keep doing it. In first grade I once beat up a guy that wanted to fight me. I tried to talk him out of it, resulted in him getting a few good punches and the whole class laughing at him.
Never had problems any real problems again.

Most important thing I learned in High School was sweet fuck all.

I honestly don't think anything I learned helps me out today at all.

LittleSassy 07-23-2005 07:57 AM

brand0n 07-23-2005 08:04 AM

what are they teaching kids now a days

Linkster 07-23-2005 08:12 AM

Biggest lesson I learned was dont put mescaline in the teachers lounge bottled water dispenser

CDSmith 07-23-2005 08:24 AM

High school for me, '79-'81, let's see.... the biggest thing I learned would have to be the tricky theorem.

Yes, definitely that. :D

VirtuMike 07-23-2005 08:27 AM

I think the rule of thirds is incredibly important and I try - TRY - to teach it.

I also learned that nobody likes a stoolpigeon.

But I carry this forward - there IS a square root of -1. Apparantly we would not have landed on the moon without this information - even though no two numbers multiplied together would give you -1 as an answer.

The Heron 07-23-2005 09:26 AM

The most important thing I learned in high school is that you don't need to remember anything or be responsible because there will always be someone around to loan you a pencil, or notes, or anything else you need! Being responsible is a waste of time!

J-$ 07-23-2005 10:17 AM

i learned to not learn

qwe 07-23-2005 10:30 AM

The most important thing I learned in high school is that it will never get me anywhere, only way out was to do my own thing... and i was right :pimp

wedouglas 07-23-2005 10:30 AM

im gonna have to say engineering is way more appealing than porn. engineers made your porn possible :winkwink:

Babagirls 07-23-2005 10:46 AM

the only thing i learned in high school was how to sleep like a champ.

nico-t 07-23-2005 04:52 PM

this is the first time i heard of the rule of thirds... and i even had history of art lessons! i guess i was sleeping...

CDSmith 07-23-2005 04:57 PM

No one else has heard of the tricky theorem?

Incredible. :D

yup, there are many "arts" and many "sciences" that tell ya what to be and what to look like when the "EYE" comes your way -- but not too many tell ya 'bout the eye, ITSELF -- where it goes or what it likes -- :winkwink: -- Aaron, you ever read Camera Lucida by Roland Barthes -- ? -- changed my life)>---o
