Just made a $12,000 deal with a hotel. Just for a webpage.

no serious. Why does mainstream pay so much more than adult?

bdld 07-22-2005 02:36 PM

because they're ignorant of the internet for the most part.

you can get a lot of awesome deals/partnership/advertsing with mainstream.
mainstream has its ups & downs, just like adult though.

Shhhhhhh. :winkwink:

I just did a mainstream job the other day and it was cake. I think its because it's sooooooooooooooooooo much larger then adult and not nearly as overpopulated.

Very true :)

both mainstream and adult have their advantages, and there's a lot of money to be made in both. that's why we run a site that flirts with both sides.

Frank The Tank 07-22-2005 02:58 PM

someone approached me for a deal with one of my sites - bookmakers - american company they asked me for total advertising for a month

i thought they were talking crap so spouted off a ridiculous fee - they came back and said well take it - six months please :) idiots :D

Sosa 07-22-2005 03:19 PM

Hopefully within the next few months I have a few mainstream sites out there. Been looking around lately.

Don't expect them to wise up anytime soon. I keep reading articles in my b2b magazines and blogs about companies not even measuring their ROI for advertising & marketing!
