I guess Motorola Razr's aren't waterproof...
 

Forgot it was in my pocket when I went swimming last week. It was a black one too. Oh well, I hated that phone...it was probably a good thing. So, what's the bad ass phone to get now? I want something small and sleek, don't need it to cook dinner or anything.

It happens... the new nokia's are looking pretty bad ass.. my girl just got one with wave messaging... comes in handy at concerts and crowded clubs...

what did you not like about it? i was planning on picking one up this weekend

That sucks ... i just got one ..so far so good ... i needed something i wouldn't mind having in my pocket ... had a blackberry ... but wouldn't take it out with me because of it's size ...

how do you fit anything in there with a roll of quarters???

Its the i860 from Motorola. Theres a button you press on the side and it flips open. So if your driving and someone calls, you just click the button and it opens the phone and answers the call. :pimp

LED bar on the back of the phone... You hold it in the air, and shake your hand back and forth like your jacking off, and it displays a message or picture... Fun stuff sometimes. Trips people out when we use it at shows especially. Rivers from Weezer was tripping when i wave msg'd the =w= in front row at the vegas show... Had a video come over and record us.

lol Mikey and Bugbee. That Wave messaging sounds dope. Little things about the Razr irritated me. The text messaging navigation is horrendous, and when someone calls you, the phone actually picks up the call about 3 seconds after you flip it open (when it's set to play an mp3 ringtone). The battery lasts about 2 days and the phone can get really hot sometimes.

Let me know when you get your phone picked out... my girl runs a cellular accessory company. Batteries, chargers, etc... whatever you need. I'll get ya hooked up cheap.

I've already noticed the text thing ... the blackberry was great for that .. i could work that keyboard like a Filipino hooker .. and the 3 sec thing is freaking me out also .. i say hello and nothing .. ihave to say it twice every time ... i should give it to Timmy2Times ...would be fine for him .. :1orglaugh

text messaging is a bitch indeed, but I don't have the other problems you mention. I love it sofar.

I have a Motorola MPX220. Had the 200 and upgreade for the camera and bluetooth capabilities.

I love Windows Mobile.

Texting on Motorola blows. I got a little app for mine that does the auto finish texting and that made things much better.

Not sure if there's anything available like that for the non-Windows Motorola phones, but it was worth the few bucks it cost to install it.
