Longhorn now named VISTA
 

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Microsoft announced Friday that it will call its next-generation operating system "Windows Vista."

The much-anticipated operating system had formerly been code-named "Longhorn."

Beta to be available Aug 3.

Sorry I neither have the time nor desire to search every fricken page to see if a topic has been posted before. If a topic is not on page 1 then it's open to have thread started.

Anybody want a copy of Longhorn ask one of the Bangkok wm`s - its been on sale there for 2 years already.

And even the second time, the name still sucks ass.

Does it matter that much what your OS is named? I mean unless it was something like Windows Herpes or Windows Hitler or something like that then I'd see why that would bother people.
