They likely knew where all the cameras were before this event. The US seems a bit relaxed and they seem to be putting it in our faces and taunting us.

Just my interpretation however. You can likely read into a dozen ways.

Well I was gonna say if they planned on killing themselves then they aren't worried about cameras seeing them..however good poing on the NY t-shirt..LOL that could have some kind of meaning to it.

I would say that it did. No doubt they need to appear as if they fit in, but that was methodical. They knew where the location of the cameras were and they new it would make the news.

I don't see how cameras in public places could possibly be interpreted as invasion of privacy! Simply because of the fact that you don't have privacy in public (the words contradict each other).

Suicide bombers don't care if they are filmed since they are going to die anyway, but in this case they failed and the cameras sure came in handy, I think it was what got them on to the guy they shot on the underground this morning.
And besides they are a great deterrent for all sorts of other crimes.

Its not hard.........i would say its impossible - you can even see yourself on some platform monitors.

this has actually been a topic of debate for about an hour on a radio show I am listening to..people are saying that if you look more closely the second word doesn't look like York.

yup..who hasn't looked into those and seen yourself on them. Heck..true story time? A couple years ago I was getting all smoocy with someone in the corner of a platform at London Bridge underground (Northern Line Branch). He got a bit excited and slipped his hand up my shirt. I am not kidding - a split second after he did that an announcement came over to remind us that cameras were working in that area. Ie - we see you put her boob down in public.

for sure the font is the same but that first letter looks like a T and the third a U but who know what speed he was running at and if it is just blurry.
