I hear enough of how good the Leafs are NOW from Evil Chris. I can only imagine the bragging afterwards. Even though they can't even get into the finals, let alone win the cup, they're the greatest team ever assembled.

The MTL Canadian will get crosby !!!

Its going to be insane watching the draft lottary today, anyone can get crosby so its going to be very fun to watch, and I also want to see who goes second third and fourth after crosby is picked, there are alot of really good players in this years draft, its a whole new NHL this year, I think its going to be improved!

So this crosby kid is like the lebron of hokey or something? I saw a little bit on it yesterday.

ya man, they say hes the next Gretzky, I dont know about that but hes really good man....really good!

Whats even funnier is that Greztky himself said (to paraphrase) that this Crosby kid is going to be the one to break his records.. and he said this when he was like 14/15 playing at a private school in the states... even before he was with rimouski.

There's NO way under the old NHL rules he would have stood a chance at Gretzky's big records.

With the proposed rule changes, it might be a possibility. I doubt it, but it'll be MORE possible now.

Nobody in the current NHL system will even come close to Gretzky's records - they can't even get 50 goals a season now, never mind 92 ... and 100 points is nearly impossible, never mind 200+ that the Great One got.

No, Mr.Brantford's records are going to be safe for a long, long time.

And on that note, I have a real hunch my LA Kings are going to land the Next, Next One.

If they do what they say they will when play resumes its possible to at least get back to the 150 point a year seasons.

As for the draft I really hope he lands in a big US market to help the game down south of the border. Being in Montreal would be useless. Great for Canada but the US would never see him play.
