all I am offically seeing is 'huge police presence on Harrow Road' - some witnesses are saying they are bomb disposal but that could be wrong.

Is there anything suspect on this street ?

we are being kept shady..they BBC are broadcasting still images..I haven't checked sky news. The reporter just reported police running down the road, then a van pulling out and more armed officers coming out and a dog.

I don't know about anyone else but the way that the news is being reported this time as opposed to 2 weeks ago is different. I don't think there is as much speculation and forwardness this time. Is it just me or does anyone else think the same? I know there is a big difference in the actual outcomes between the 2 but the seriousness of the events are the same.

When I stated that news held back footage exactly the way they are doing now for 9/11 i was told i was wrong, yet I was not.

Okay..who said I was afraid? Interested in the events going on..yes..but I am not sitting here quivering in fear. I didn't write about any suspects..i didn't start the other thread and I - like everyone in my city (not NYC, not anywhere else 3k miles away..my city) are just interested in knowing what happens. Trust me, this city is taking this about as well and with as little visable fear as nearly any other city in the world would.

You do seem to have a supremem problem with any form of authority. From what I have seen of you over the years you are intellegent and have an idea of what is going on it the world. I think we largely have similar politcal views so just as you don't want to be grouped in as being bitter please do not put me in with war mongering, gun totting, 'kill all brown people' people. I think anyone that has ever read any of my posts would know that.

and is it censoring while it is still going on? I would rather they finish what ever is going on at Harrow Road and then come to the podium (which apparently they are about to do) and tell us a more accurate version of what is happening. Obviously when people saw someone being shot by police - something which does NOT happen here without it being a huge deal - they had to report something was happening.

i never put extreme command in the hands of authority.
