I met AaronM at the SD show and he approached me about doing some modeling...Before I do it, I want to know everyone?s opinions on him and his business. I am thinking of flying to Florida for the upcoming show, but I want to make sure he is a stand up guy and does what he says he does before I fly across the country to do this.

I would especially love for women to tell me their opinions of Aaron, both personally and professionally.

Please, only people that know him and who have worked with him respond. I don't want to start any drama, I want people's true and honest experiences with Aaron.

Do I have experience with him? Yes. He's at my house right now shooting several of my models. I have only allowed 2 other photographers to do that, and I've been doing business for 8 years now.

Well let's say I have known Aaron for many years, I have worked with him, fought with him, hung out with him........ and about everything you can do with a friend without having that sex thing...... and all I have to say is this:

If you aren't safe with Aaron, you aren't safe anywhere with anyone. He's about as standup a guy as I have ever met, he is an amazing friend and if I had to pick just ONE person in this industry to trust and clal my friend, he would be one of them. This man has stuck by me when literally my whole world was crashing in around me, he was right there with me. I know I don't tell HIM often, but he one of the dearest people I have ever met. AND he is probably going to shoot me for saying all these nice things, but I mean it, from the very pits of my being, I mean every single word of it. :)

If this is who I think it is, you have nothing at all to worry about. Aaron is one the very few people (like less than 5) I would trust Arika with for any length of time (I believe you know Arika as well...lol) If Aaron has invited you, I would strongly urge you to take the chance and go and have a good time, you won't regret it in the least.

If I had daughters over 18, I would trust Aaron to shoot them. :)

You know me, and I know you. I would not steer you wrong. AaronM is one of the most responsible, upstanding, trustworthy photographers in the business. And I am not just saying that.

Oh, he is my friend too, and I don't use that word loosely.

AaronM is a guy who has many haters and many friends. Not many in between.
He's opinionated and speaks his mind, even if you won't like his opinion. Thing is, his opinion is usually the right one. You'll find he doesn't speak up a lot unless he's very sure he has his facts straight, and backed up with proof. This makes for many haters... but what can ya do?

If you don't give him a reason to form a negative opinion of yourself (aka, if you're a good person), then Aaron is potentially one of the best people to know.

He's one hell of a content producer and business man... but above even that, the friends he does have are very good friends to have. He is a great networker and an even better friend. He will NOT associate himself with riff raff. That means that if anyone who knows Aaron sees you with Aaron, they will automatically know that you are either a good person, or very good at hiding something shady :winkwink:

He gets a bad rap on this board because he speaks his mind so much. And I have no doubt you'll see some of that in this thread. But if you can see passed that and see how Aaron really works... then you can't go wrong working with him and knowing him.

Oh and yes, I am sure I'll get many "ass kissing" replies... but that's ok. Doesn't phase me. I speak from experience, having been friends with Aaron for a while now.

Well since he has been at my house for the last month and I can honestly say that Aaron will respect you and treat you how ever you would like to be treated. Since this is your first show you should know that he would be a great body guard for you. You can be as honest as you want with him and he will appreciate that and not go crying cause you hurt his feelings. As you can probably tell, there are a few people that don't like Aaron on this board, since you asked for all opinions of him you will get them good and bad. From him being here for a month I have seen many sides of him and for the most part they have all been good. He loves to help people out and if he says he will do something for you then you can trust that. You don't have anything to worry about :)

Now as for AaronM. When you asked me about him in SD, I told you he was trust worthy and a stand up guy. And that I would not hesitate to send a model looking for work to him. As a photographer, they don't come any better.

We have had our disagreements in the past, but AaronM is top notch in my book and welcome at my place of business and home anytime.

Only good thing I've heard about Aaron's business ... He got his board persona ... but I respect him for his business and the quality of his content ;)

I've stayed with AaronM at shows many times - shared many a room with him - other than the SNORRING he's a cool guy to hang with.

my advise - if you plan to stay with him - bring earplugs or a glass of water to splash on him. I tried puking in his luggage but that didn't work......

I met Aaron in January for the first time, after having contact with him mainly here for six months. He was the first person I called when I got to Vegas, and he and Zoe picked me up and toted me around with them for a few hours, introducing me to some of their friends.

He's honest..brutally so, on occassion, and of course that rubs some people the wrong way. Me, personally, would rather have my friend tell me I'm being an asshole to my face then talk shit behind my back, so I respect that.

I've seen probably hundreds of photographs he has shot, and his models always look comfortable, and like they are having fun. I've never heard the slightest rumor of inappropriate behaviour, and like I said earlier, if you were my daughter and wanted to work with him, you would have my blessing.

Good deal....Now I gotta pay all these fuckers off for lying about me.
