How many of you guys use Stats Remote?

I think it's Stats Remote is an excellent product and I recommend it to all who don't use it.

Ice 07-21-2005 06:34 PM

couldn't live without it :)

Spunky 07-21-2005 06:35 PM

Indeed..love it and a very useful program

beemk 07-21-2005 06:38 PM

saves me hours of time a week

thaifan99 07-21-2005 06:39 PM

Nope....using unified at moment........

wedouglas 07-21-2005 06:40 PM

unified was to clunky for me

Sosa 07-21-2005 06:43 PM

been using it for a long time now. Great program

candyflip 07-21-2005 06:47 PM

I used it for a while but have been using Unified Stats and it's more than what I need, so as long as it's free I'll use it before paying.

squeezeboobs 07-21-2005 06:50 PM

Isn't unified just as good and FREE?

Furious_Male 07-21-2005 06:50 PM

Statsremote is a great product.

MrJackMeHoff 07-21-2005 07:53 PM

yeah i tried unified but its a overbloated pile of shit. Been using statsremote forever.

FunForOne 07-21-2005 08:01 PM

I like it alot, but it makes me feel lazy every time I pay.

fuzebox 07-21-2005 08:19 PM

I don't make a lot of sales and I still find it incredibly useful... Checking stats on 30 programs 2-3 times a day is a pain in the ass, plus the reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, $/unique, $/sale) features are a nice bonus :thumbsup

Thanks wedouglas for giving it a try...I've noticed some long time users of different solutions have had some initial troubles adjusting to the software initially too...when you use a piece of software for years, anything else is going to look strange at first.

...in a nutshell, it doesn't take any longer to add programs, scan programs, view your stats ect...it's just different...and it's been set up in a way to substain constant development/enhancements...along with advertising to support the product...it's not just a stats tool, it's a webmaster resource...

All I can ask for others is to give it a shot, and wedouglas, maybe try it again in the future... I think you will be surprised how far we have come in such little time and we aren't stopping.

What we have done is removed the burden from the webmasters to have to pay for this type of application. Revenue can come from many different sources and there is plenty of opportunity outside of having webmasters pay for it...it just makes sense. Webmasters can benefit by dropping a monthly payment while affiliate programs are always looking for ways to communicate with the webmasters...it's an industry supported webmaster resource like this board, or an industry magazine ect...

A good analogy: compare this board to webmasterworld...they have decided to generate revenue from their webmasters/users rather than from advertisers. Some may appreciate that model, but I certainly wont ever use their website. There are plenty of free alternatives out there which are funded by advertisers showing ads that I certainly don't mind seeing since they pertain to my job...and I have come to find there are many who feel the same way. UnifiedStats fills this niche perfectly for them.

Jace 07-21-2005 08:27 PM

i am using unified, and it does exactly what I need...and I think it is almost as good as statsremote, it is getting there, just a few tweaks more

oh, and since unified is here...when will you all be adding some right clicking capability? there are tons of things you all could be doing with right clicks to save time

Furious_Female 07-21-2005 08:33 PM

Napolean wrote a custom stats remote for me and it's pink :)

Thanks for the support Jace...As you've noticed, we've made many improvements to the application over the last couple of weeks...the large group of webmasters we picked up so quickly and the support and feedback they have provided helped lead to the the rapid improvements...

...but they have all been mostly under the hood so to speak...once we've got all of that stuff straightened out, we will be moving back to the interface, adding functionality ect... You are correct, we have a lot of options sitting in front of us... a lot of great things to come...

Right now we are working on adding support for programs which only display stats by period...this is why we are missing a few major programs at the moment...we are days away from deploying, after which we will move on to upgrading the application and continue adding new programs...

IPK 07-21-2005 08:55 PM

I use to work 2 hours a day, now that I have StatsRemote I work 0 hours per day.

Great product.

Same here.

Statsremote is a great piece of software. The more sponsors you promote, the more useful statsremote becomes.

More Booze 07-22-2005 04:51 AM

I'm using it now but I'll be moving to Unified Stats soon..

Corleone 07-22-2005 04:52 AM

using and loving it :)

fusionx 07-22-2005 04:52 AM

If either program had an import from spreadsheet feature I'd buy it (or use it) in a heartbeat. I have spreadsheets for all my stats, and hate the idea of entering each program by hand. Over 250 CCBill accounts alone..

rogerbo 07-22-2005 05:32 AM

I tryd Statsremote and found it a good piece of SW but to expensive for my use. Unified is Free and does what i need it for so :thumbsup Unified Stats

nikad 07-22-2005 07:33 AM

I tried Stats Remote a while ago and it is a very good piece of software, yet I rather use to Unified Stats, cos it is free, great support, constant updates and does all I need.
nik :thumbsup

I love stats remote, and their CS is great. Of course free would be nice, but the cost is small and I actually feel a bit more secure paying a bit for a service that is so vital. In other words I know they aren't gonnna call it quits on a whim one day.

We wont be going anywhere, everyone can be assured of this...

It's a bit of a new concept for such a niche piece of softare, so I understand it will take more time for some people to come on board than others...but all we've done is shifted the source of revenue for a product from the end users to the programs...and with an industry specific tool, we believe it will actually add value to the product overall...

- gives programs an excellent medium to reach a highly targetted audience...
- gives webmasters a useful, time saving application...
- ads provide value to webmasters, keeping them on top of changes in the industry...

and most importantly, it lets webmaster drop a monthly payment...why pay for something when you have programs willing to fund it for you...this is a concept we all benefit from every day...it just makes sense.

Alky 07-22-2005 10:28 AM

when is PussyCash going to be added to Unified Stats?

Axeman 07-22-2005 10:29 AM

I have used Statsremote for years, but am leaning to going to Unified. $30 a month was good when it was the lone program and the updates when a program went down was almost instant. Now you gotta wait a week min before major sponsors are added or fixed. For $30 a month it should be within 12 hours in my opinion.

good question, it's been a popular request...

we are currently in the process of adding support for programs which only display stats by period...this is a major upgrade and it will allow us to add many large programs we are currently missing (and expand out of the adult market more too)...

We are days away from rolling this out and support for PussyCash will be rolled out at the same time...

s9ann0 07-22-2005 12:28 PM

statsremote rules

Meloman 07-22-2005 05:13 PM

Both UnifiedStats and StatsRemote are great programs. They both have there pros and cons.

Probably the best thing anyone can do is download both and give them a try. If you like SR and are willing to pay $30 a month go for it. Or if you like US just as much and would rather not pay anything then your choice is easy.

The more and more I use UnifiedStats the more I prefer it. Being able to log into the various programs and check out multiple sponsors all within the same application is really convienient (because of the intergrated browser). With Stats Remote I always right click and open the sponsor page in a new window. Next thing u know I have 5 windows open AND stats remote. Can get a bit cluttered.

Oh and originally when i saw the Unified Stats "graphs" I didn't pay much attention. Didn't think I really needed them. Well I was checking them out more in detail the other day and realized it's very cool to know exactly what "percentage" each program is to my total revenue. Of course I all ready knew who my top sponsos were, but with the graphs I got the exact percentage. Was just something kinda neat.

I have a feeling US is gonna just keep getting better and better :thumbsup

azteca 07-22-2005 05:22 PM

Sorry but personally I wouldn't pay 30 bucks a month for something to check my stats for me. Never tried statsremote so really can't comment on it. But I did download unified stats program and must say I am very impressed with it. Great program! John needs to add more programs which will come in time. Must say it does save me alot of time. He updates all the time and great support. Thanks for the program John.

This has been possible with StatsRemote since version 1.0 more than three years ago. Here's a screenshot of our first version... see the percent column ;)

StatsRemote rules. Great support and service. Well worth the money. If you're serious about what you do, the cost is nothing.

That and most of you should have enough rewards points from ARS or TCG to get it for free anyway...

Hahah, you're right. I guess I just never noticed. Since uified stats displays that in a graphical format it stuck out more, lol. My bad. It really is a feature i don't really need overal. I guess I just noticed more since when it was in my face with the graphs, lol.

I gotta admit though, seeing it as a graph is kinda cool.

No problem Liz...thanks for the support :)

I know what you're saying Meloman, some people took to the graphs right away, some didn't ( and we have options to display reports with graphs on or off )...but what I'm seeing and hearing more and more is it's really growing on people...1 second glance and you know where you are at with everything...and the longer you use them, the more powerful they become as you begin to get a feel for your data...

IPK, I wont argue this service isn't worth money...no doubt about it. But for the most part, you aren't hearing people say they aren't going to use the service at all because it costs money and that charging for it can't be justified...it's more along the lines of why pay for something when you can get it for free...and using reward points is still paying for it...

darnit 07-22-2005 11:53 PM

Stats Remote = BEST. PROGRAM. EVER.

Well worth the price of admission

:thumbsup

Can't you merge all those CCBill accounts under one? And then you only have to add one to SR.
