and I think events over the last 4 years have proven it to be true.

What is that?

That if the government can't come after us for obscenity they will start coming after the money.

The whole FTC affair makes it even more apparent at how close they are.

I will say it once again, you are going to see a big porn company get their ass RICO'd and hard.

You are going to see conspiracy charges filed, people who have amassed wealth using things like spam, browser hijackers, scumware, shaving etc will forfeit those assets on their way to the federal pen.

MARK MY WORDS it will happen.

Very possible ... a lot of people have made their money with "quick buck" sheme ... hopefully this will become a long term stable industry ;)

I agree.

Pill companies have already seen their money go out the window. The rest will most likely follow.

Every time I made a post about RICO the response was always that investigations take years..well years have gone by...they are investigating people now, I would swear my life on it and sometime within the next 1-3 years there will be an announcement.

indeed long term stability is in everyones best interests, and ultimatley I do think that day will arrive , but I dont think it will be soon.

And imagine when there is a rogue employee involved.

Piss off the wrong guy and he could very well have you put in prison if you're doing anything shady like shaving.

Imagine the charges if he documented it and could have it proved in court.

The CEO, CTO, CFO and the programmers who wrote the script could all go to jail.

And imagine all those guys writing affiliate programs with backdoor shaving installed...yeah you too are involved in a conspiracy to defraud. JAIL TIME.

It's coming.

I beleive it will tohtally take effect in due time.

I agree, the minute they wise up and educate themselves on the affiliate model. and learn a little about the biz. they will have their bean counters reconcile joins vs. payout vs. rebills ect. it's not going to be pretty for some people.

and I agree it there will be a pissed off rougue employee involved.
