is there any better smell than baking bread?

Have my breadmaker doing a honey wheat loaf at the moment. I suggest that baking bread is the best smelling food ever. Disagree? What is your vote?

I used to love the smell of parmesan cheese because it made me think of pizza.

Till one day I asked my wife if there was pizza in the house because I smelled parmesan cheese.

After she told me to shutup because it was her mom's feet, I've never been able to stand the smell of it since and refuse to use it on anything.

Still love pizza though.

Rui 07-21-2005 09:40 AM

Dax 07-21-2005 09:40 AM

I wouldn't doubt it. I once worked in an office where they pumped a fainst smell of freshly mowed grass into the lobby because some survey put it on a list of comforting smells.

Radik 07-21-2005 12:22 PM

I love the smell of ground coffee even though I don`t like drinking it.
The only kind of coffee I`ll drink is the mocaccino from Nescafè machines for some reason.Must be because it tastes like chocolate and not coffee

weaverguy 07-22-2005 01:40 AM

yeah, freshly baked bread makes me high
