Just realised that Chicago is in Illinois, not Michigan. Sorry :Oh crap

Chicago is only about a ~5 hour drive by car to MI. 45 mins by Air, and 5-6ish (?) by train.

Check www.southwest.com for air plane prices. southwest is the Ryan Air of the USA - Only their website has the prices.
Train would be www.amtrak.com

And I can't make it to the Michgan webmasters gathering. My home is S.W. of Detroit... But i'm overseas currently in the UK.

For centrality we'll probably do this at the Lansing or Jackson restaurant to get people from the West and East side of the states meeting in the middle.

If I am in town then sure. Just bought a big lake home that Im going to use for studio space on Scott Lake in Waterford. 100 ft of private beach. Great new home with tons of party potentional. Docks for boats and jetskis. We can all end the day there if you would like. It would be pretty central to everyone also. Lots of space for people to crash if you need to also.

Whoo hoo.. Jackson. Good deal. Went to college over by there (Albion) and I need to swing through the campus bookstore for a new hat. Old one's looking a bit rough, and never have an excuse to get over that way from Kalamazoo.

I'm way up in Houghton, Michigan which is 4 hours north of Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Right now I'm vacationing at my parents in Alpena so might not be able to make a meet right now but please put me on any lists and keep me posted. Will be back in GR sometime in august for sure!

Enjoy food and drinks compliments of ARS and network with other local webmasters. Please RSVP by July 26th to [email protected] with your name/company name and the number expected in your party. For those wishing to hangout in the area for the day there is a nice park located approximately 3 miles away that contains 18 hole golf course, 9 hole par-3 course, driving range, basketball courts, tennis courts, mini-golf, batting cages, paddle boats, etc.
