Fox Counter - I Like
 

Well there's been a lot of discussion over this counter already, but it seems a lot of people are talking before they've even actually used it.
And I'm not sure why there's been complaints about the size of the counter button. I've got it sitting next to sexlist and Hypercount, and it's only marginally bigger. I've seen much worse.

Well anyway.. I've been running it on some of my sites for just on a day now and I really like what I see so far.
The most important thing for me is naturally it's speed and accuracy.
Well admittedly there's not much load on the server yet, but so far it's consistently been the first counter to pop up on my pages when they are loaded.
Also, the stats are EXTREMELY close to what my scripts report, and that's with the button at the bottom of the page.
So that's two thumbs up there.

Now we get to the details. The stat reports seem very easy to navitgate, and just about every detail I need is there. Web browsers, screen depth and resolution, platform, referrers (seems to do a much better job at catching referrers than some of my other counters - not sure why), and of course, returns, uniques and hits.
Almost all these stats can also be broken down into months, weeks, days, and hours.

The stats aren't overloaded with uneeded java, and so everything loads very quickly, and I can find my way around ALOT more simply than some other counters.

Anyway.. That's my experience so far. Hopefully it'll continue to remain accurate when the server load picks up a bit more.
But I'm happy at the moment.

Host about posting a URL so we can see how large the counter actually is?

Like Kush said, could we see some page where the ACTUAL counter is on?? and also can I ask if you have tested this counter with any big traffic?? can it handle the load with referring stats on for major traffic??

We have everything in place to handle large traffic :)

Do you plan to pay webmasters to use it? Ff not why would they use yours over the others currently out there? Is your so much more accurate?

Just curious why someone would make another counter when we already have a few to choose from, and not offer anything special for it to make it unique.

ours is different and more acurrate than some others out there.
It is also in real time. The program was written in php and that means it is alot faster. its sorta like the 3rd generation of a counter. but it is up to you in the end to decide if you like it or not. :glugglug

saying that BG's SexMansion uses FoxCounter doesn't really say that much...seeing as BGMedia owns FC too. =)

The problem is that BG still supports SexHound - which promotes the dialer thru terms such as illegal lolita sex. With the amount of traffic BG got from Sexhound we know that you guys know how they are marketing it ...and you are looking the other way.

Since, Sexhound is a counter...it also makes me sort of suspicious about whether or not the counter code isn't just rehashed old sexhound counter code...and maybe they are trying to build a new name by opening under a new name and in partnership with another company.

fox counter and bg media is not connected to Sexhound. Sexhound is based somewhere in cyprus.
foxcounter is usa based in carson city.
Bg media has NO ownership in sexhound what so ever.

This foxcounter software has been built by us from scratch. using php. Have a look and compare.

not to big but good 50-60k impresision

20-30k unique

seems runing well pops fast

I don't doubt that BG doesn't own SH ...and that SH probably doesn't own, in whole or in part, FC. But there is still an issue outstanding of supporting illegal content and supporting sites that promote illegal content.

yeh - I'll keep ya'all up to date - but Bruce did make contact with SH and told them to cease promoting the dialer with their shitty ass tactics...

every email address they had bounces back .... so I hope he has a different one than i do...
