Anyone giving Ibill a second chance?

I just got off the phone with Andrew at Ibill and he seemed to be very sincere and willing to bend over backwards in wanting us to go back to them and said he would attempt to get our past funds paid so we'll see what happens.

I do have to say this about Ibill. They seem to be more stable now, they could have simply filed for bankruptcy and said to hell with it but they seem to be sticking it out and I think that says a lot. I can forgive the fiasco and treatment over the past 10 months if they do the right thing which is what appears to be happening. I have made a lot of money through Ibill over the past 7 years and it would be nice to get to the point where things were a few years ago so I have decided to give them a second chance and see how it goes.

Ice 07-20-2005 02:43 PM

I found Ibill always converted the best but they did fuck alot of people over. Shit they still owe me about 10k from the web900 bullshit. I would consider giving them another try but don't know if they would be the first in the cascading billing line

SteveLightspeed 07-20-2005 02:59 PM

I'm still pretty bitter about ibill, the last time they fucked me over WAS their 2nd chance.

Steve Lightspeed

Dirty-Dough 07-20-2005 03:01 PM

I would use them even if I was forced to...

MetaMan 07-20-2005 03:02 PM

yes, i always let robbers have the keys to my house.

Same here, I used them again after the first time they fucked me around, BIG mistake.

some people enjoy being shit on, stepped on, spit on, lied too, stolen from and keep coming back for more. Wtf is wrong with you idiots. :1orglaugh

Jayde 07-20-2005 08:41 PM

After the $4K they screwed me for, I will never give them chance in hell again. I am so tired of billing companies ripping off webmasters than coming back under "the new management" guise and we are trying so hard crap.
If we as a industry don't stick together, they will keep sticking it to us. That is the biggest problem with the adult biz world, no cohesiveness, it's proven with acacia, rip-off billing companies, 2257 regs, and anything else that happens.

Mr. Mike 07-20-2005 08:48 PM

Never again, ever.

rdunn404 07-20-2005 08:48 PM

Is this what they mean by 'abused wife syndrome'?

keyboard warrior 07-20-2005 08:59 PM

Tell IBILL to pay all money owed so we can use them again.

fuck ibill. fuck them backwards

Fetish 07-20-2005 10:02 PM

Anyone that uses Ibill again is a complete fucking idiot. I just can't understand it. With great companies like Netbilling, CCbill, & Paycom, why would you need anyone else?

Kevin2 07-20-2005 10:02 PM

I don't care how many promises they make. I judge people by their actions not their words. They must pay outstanding debts first then we can talk.

Fetish 07-21-2005 09:05 AM

bump for the morons thinking about using Ibill again

simple simon 07-21-2005 09:11 AM

you fucking idiots will never learn. I hope they fuck you harder again this time. Hell I think DMR should ressurect themselves :1orglaugh

The only thing the new owners (scumbags) are trying to do is get their stock price back up. You know its bad when they create their own affiliate portal and spam their consumer database. That really shows me they care about their webmasters.

They are liars, cheaters, and crooks. Anyone who gives them business deserves to get fucked over (and you will).

Weird isnt it?

They owe me too much money for forgiveness.

Trax 07-21-2005 09:36 AM

2nd chance?? 3rd or 4th chance you mean

jayeff 07-21-2005 09:40 AM

I really cannot believe anyone would even be thinking about using them...

New owners you say? Even if the new owners really have no connection with the previous owners (which in view of stuff already posted here and elsewhere seems doubtful), if they were as honest as you apparently wish to believe, why didn't they or the previous owners begin by wiping the slate clean and pay the existing debts?

Two possibilities: either the "new" owners took over the business without its debts, which is a nice way of saying "Screw you!" to all the old customers (including you?) or they are responsible for the debts and plan to pay, if at all, in their own sweet time. If the latter, are they simply taking advantage of the situation or are they undercapitalized? Neither says anything good about them.

And what kind of Mickey Mouse outfit is this anyway, that the only publicity they seem to have done so far is to fake up a couple of nicks and post naff messages on boards like this? You really want to trust a payment processor that seems like it is being run by some dumb kid from his bedroom?

Jeez. What some people will tell themselves to rationalize going for a couple of percentage points...

BigRod 07-21-2005 09:43 AM

Yeah I dont think soooo :)

ThunderBalls 07-21-2005 12:00 PM

I don't blame anyone for feeling the way they do about Ibill, I've done my share of bitching about them on here. But I look at it this way. I have used Ibill since 1996 starting out as our main processor then later as a backup processor. They have processed well over a million dollars for us and up until last year there was never an issue. When this shit happened last year I swore I would never use them again and figured our money was gone. But the way I look at it now is at least they are trying to make an effort to pay us back which is something I didnt think would ever happen. Yes, they fucking lied to me when this shit was going down but I do think they are trying to make a sincere effort to put this behind them and make things right and I do think they deserve credit for that, and I also think an 8 year track record of being treated well from them also says something. And if I'm wrong about it you can bet I will not keep my mouth shut about it.

A sales person is going to tell you anything you want to hear so they can get your business. And the people that are trying to sell you services were the same people answering customer service calls 3 months ago. :1orglaugh

I will be at InterNext at the iBill booth. If you want to speak to me you can find me there.

We got stung by iBill and will not be using them again. Our rep Bari was excellent, keeping us informed. She seemed to be the only person who cared and was prepared to help us. Bari has now voted with her feet and taken a walk away from iBill - probably the best reason I can think of for not using them again.

Bari was a diamond amongst a load of cheap glass, I hope she does well in whatever she does next.

BTW has anyone ever met her in person ? Is she as nice in the flesh as she is on the phone?

Sorry to hear they are making you go to the show. I wonder if Jason Galanis or Gary Spaniak or Steve Markley will be there on the floor. They are the idiots/criminals that stole money from webmasters. The truth will eventually come out. Nobody that is anybody would do business with ibill.

Yeah, there is nobody left that has a clue about the adult business. The only people still there are the poor entry level call center people that don't have a choice. They just promoted them into other positions to make up for everyone that abandoned the company and refused to work for criminals. Glad to hear Bari is finally out of there. She is good people...

Yes. I met her in London with Mark. She was really nice plus quite hot :)

IBill did have some nice people there. But from what I can make out, all the people who were OK have gone

imageman 07-23-2005 07:30 AM

Ibill at Internext are you kidding?

Fuck this world is full of morons. Morons who are actually considering going back to using a company that has stolen millions from webmasters and are now blackmailing people into getting back in bed with them?

And morons for thinking having a booth at Internext will do anything but start a riot. Its almost worth the trip just to film the inevitable massacre that with undoubtedly happen as soon as these fucktards from Ibill show there faces.

This is going to be an Internext we will never forget.

webhoward 07-23-2005 11:09 AM

I will say this again. If you want to see what the new circus clowns at iBill are willing to do to protect your money, ask this-
"What has iBill done to protect us from losing our $$ again if they should go under."
Andrew, you are not qualified to handle accounts, bro. You have no decision making abilities, you were not even there when the shit hit the fan. Not only that- no matter what your intentions are, there is no one there who is willing to back you up.
Anyone worth a damn has abandoned ship. I would not trust iBill or anyone there to process their own bodily waste, let alone process my payments.
Sorry guys! Save your BS lies for someone else. :321GFY
Glad to hear that Bari went elsewhere. She is a great person & was a great rep.

Ibill has money to get a booth at Internext but don't have the money to pay their webmasters. boy that really showing webmasters you are trying to pay them. Instead of paying for a booth at internext you should of paid that to your webmasters.

Bari was the only good thing left at that place, and I am soooo glad she is moving on to greener pastures. To answer your question, yes she is as nice in the flesh as she is on the phone. Now that she is gone, that place is completely worthless!

Nad 07-25-2005 06:34 AM

Is anyone going to have a camera in a fixed position during the show on the iBill booth?

Hey andrew... I want a Big Mac, Large Fries and Orange Soda... you might be able to handle that but for sure you don't know your ass from a hole in the wall when it comes to sales, ibill or adult billing....

iBill go fuck yourself and your 'investments', I appreciate the spam from gspotnews.. original url! Take your incestial family executive staff and buy a clue.. you are dead in the water... good luck making a living with people that only bill $100 a month.

webhoward 07-25-2005 07:18 AM

Nad- you are giving me a run for my money bro. Too cold ;)
Seriously~
It is sad to see that iBill still has employees there that actually believe mgmt. Has anyone experienced the new regime at iBill actually putting their money where there mouth is? (serious question)
They owe a lot of people a lot of money. A number of small to mid sized companies went under for cryin out loud.
At the very least, I hope everyone walked away from this unfortunate experience learning this- NEVER put all of your eggs in one basket. In this day and age, the smartest thing anyone could do is to use several processors. Mitigate your risk. Cascade, cascade, cascade!! In the last four years +/- Paycom & iBill lost their merchant accounts and a dozen or more payment processors closed their doors for good. It is a lot easier to handle losing 1/3 or 1/2 of your revenues, than it is to lose EVERYTHING.

Best of luck to everyone out there.
