Small Earthquake in LA...

For the last five minutes the ground has been moving... is it just me? I hope this doesn't not get worse...

No joke.

Rocky 01-28-2002 11:09 PM

especially when i'm a thousand miles away from them

TheFLY 01-28-2002 11:09 PM

geejay 01-28-2002 11:10 PM

no sleep tonight...third one in a row. They seem to be moving closer to us in the Northridge area.

boneprone 01-28-2002 11:12 PM

They are Pre-shocks for a bigger one.

Get your looting gear ready, and grab me some goods at the local Walmart!

boneprone 01-28-2002 11:14 PM

3 of em.
Serious, I think they are pre-shocks.

Better go to the store and stock up on water, batteries, matches, food, etc.

Rocky 01-28-2002 11:15 PM

*sigh*

and i can only live vicariously through you guys

is it just like the movie when they turned the bass speakers up really loud in the theater?

i think they called it Sens-a-round

i loved that movie, Earthquake

No, its where all the cops and firefighters live though.

Magic Mountain is like 30mins drive from there.

boneprone 01-28-2002 11:27 PM

hmm. that spoils the looting idea.

TopTGP 01-28-2002 11:31 PM

The only good thing to come out of LA are police chases and shootouts.

:)

Nedder 01-28-2002 11:58 PM

I felt it for about 5 seconds, wasn't a biggie.

i heard somebody on the news say these earthquakes are all aftershocks from the northridge quake years ago.

MrBrian 01-29-2002 02:01 AM

i think they should plow down LA and turn it into a cattle ranch or something. so, las vegas wont be so smoggy
