I'd like to know Wich one work the best for you on wath kind of traffic.

I'm ok with pps right now but i might switch.

I get this question all the time hopefully this will help clear the air a bit. I am reposting it from another thread but hopefully it is informative.

first off % is better than PPS on our system. I have one webmaster who sends about 2000 traffic a day to 2 accounts. on PPS and one % and has been doing this for over a year. He makes around $100 a day on each account. The difference is if he turned off both accounts today the % account would pay out for more than a year to come slowly declining over time.

As for how many free signups convert to customers, that really varies on were the traffic comes from and how it is sent to us. I have seen only one trend, if your free signups to traffic sent is over 5% then you should do well with us and te closer you are to 10% conversion from traffic to free signup the more money you will make.

And on to the real hat trick
In live cams there are customers and then there are REAL customers (WHALES) kinda like a casino. 1 (whale) can equal 100 customers. it usuallly takes a good ammount of traffic to find that one whale, a whale can spend as much as $20,000 in a month. as you can see at 20% this is $4000 your cut. Obviously that is the extreme but havina guy who spends 5000 is not unusual.

Now sometimes someone sends us some traffic and it does not convert in the first couple days, and they pull the plug. Thinking this program sucks or whatever. Mostly they just did not stick around long enough to find the GOLD ! This is different than sending traffic to paysites. These customers come back every day and talk to girls. Eventually they try it out. the free signup you send today can turn into a sale 2 months or a year later. But if you have stopped sending traffic, you likely forget all about that when ya get your check a year later.

On the other hand sometimes we get a customer who sends a little traffic lands a WHALE their first week and think oh my god this porgram is the greatest converting thing on the planet ! It typoically takes a good 6 months or so of steady traffic to reach a peak performance but can take up to a year.

This is a long term partnership, Many companies have been with us for years and we are inside almost every major paysite company there is. There is a reason for that !

Please give us a shot at converting your traffic, but give us a fair shot at it and remember it takes a bit more time with live cams but the payoffs can be wicked for waiting around

short story:

in 1998 i signed up with videosecrets.com. i placed their link on a foot fetish site i had. i got a few sales for awhile then they slowed down so i removed the link and forgot all about the account. this year starting in feb, (7 years later) i started to get checks in the mail from video secrets, but i thought it was from my new affiliate account with them. then the checks started getting larger and larger as the months went by. then in may i got a check for over $2500. i was so shocked i called the phone number on the check to find out where all this money was coming from. the affiliate manger called me at home the next day. he told me that this money was coming in from a link i had back in 1998. then he asked me if i was sitting down and i said hold on and sat my ass down. LOL he told me all the money i made was from ONE customer. i was like...damn for real. then he gave me the run down like lars gave you and now i have cam links on every site i own. i tried to capture the full page for the month of may, but the page is to long.

not only was i shocked by the amount of money i made, (and still making from one guy) but how honest videosecrets was in making sure i was paid my commission. they could have kept ALL the money and i wouldn't have known a damn thing. i have the highest payout they have and that's 35% commission. % is the way to go for sure. no shave machine with these guys. imagine if i kept those links in place for 7 years. now i know...

IT DEPENDS ON WHO YOU ARE SENDING TRAFFIC TO!

I am positive % at Streamray makes more than PPS at Streamray. However, I am not certain that % at Streamray makes more than PPS at Clickcash for example. They are 2 different business models, one requiring an upload of funds first, the other is pay after you play meaning you are paid on a free signup. If Streamray paid on a free or $1.00 join he it would likely result in much different results.

Ppps at streamray makes more then pps at clickcash so if pps at streamray make more then pps at clicash it is obvious that % at streamray is better then pps at clickcash :D

all of our top dogs are on % for the most. but it takes time time time. its not something that you check every hour to see where your stats are and and how your traffic is converting. its something that you put up and forget about until we send you money. an affliate layed it out best for me once. he said that you put the link up and money comes out of thin air. our program promotes itself for the most. you just have to wait for it to pay off big

with that said. there are a good amount of seo guys that make me wrong about that all the time. its a voodoo that i really dont know all that well, but some of those boys convert www.cams.com in ways that amaze me

and most of them are on PPS and do really well right out of the gate. so i guess that payout is about your traffic and what you are looking for. long term or short term

PPS - get your money in hand. No one knows what's gonna happen 6 months from now.

No offence to cams.com - it seems like a great program, but you have to trust that you'll land a whale that will actually spend, the processor won't go globill/ibill - the sponsor won't cut and run.

Get it in hand and leave the recurring to your own sites that you have control over. That way you don't have to trust the customer, the processor & sponsor to not fuck you over. Minimize your risks. Put your faith in your bank account, not sponsors/customers/processors.

Besides, with PPS you can calculate your ROI more effectively.

Doesn't for me, but I don't market with whatever a program gives me. Everyone I know that has tried both has had same results.

Clickcash was converting 5 years aggo for me. In those five years i give them a try a couple of time and dint got the results i was expecting. That said, i have nothing against clickcash other then their webmaster support. I still think it is a good program. I'm currently sending traffic to 3 webcam sponsors and they all do better then clickcash for me.

I used to follow that logic, then I realized "why am I sacrificing potential income for the sake of math?"

Forget whales, you only need a few relatively big fish to make %%% work or you. On Cams.com I'm still PPS but when I look at my numbers, I'd ballpark I'd be a little ahead should I had gone %. Over a longer period of time I can see the numbers tilting every more as I have yet to get my whale :)

It's cool you process in house. I trust you about as much as you trust me. I'll take my money in hand - that way the most I lose is a week/2 weeks or a month's worth of revenue if the shit goes south. Nothing personal or a slam against your company. I don't buy revshare programs - especially with cams...sharing your risk ain't my problem. I have my own risks to deal with.

That's incredible. These guys will come back and visit year after year and just do the free chat? I can't believe that. That's insane. How on earth do they track that? He would have a new IP address and new computer by that time.

because his login and Password is tagged with you ref ID forever so as long as he logs in with that Logina nd password you get the credit ! We have people we are still paying $$ to years after they have stopped sending traffic or have even shutdown all their sites ! Nice residual income.
