Well, I finally got my wish for a cooler day. High of 19 C today, or about 68 F, cloudy and breezy. Got all the windows open, it's great.
A few nights ago we had a pretty beefy storm blow over, 100 Kph winds, heavy rain (about 90 mm in a very short period of time) and some said there was a tornado nearby but since it was like 1 am it's hard to say. Lots of giant tree limbs were broken off, parked cars were smucked with parts of trees and debris..... but my house, car and properties came through it just fine. But the rain hit my front steps so hard it spattered up dirt all over my nice front door. :( |
