ICQ 's starting to get on my nerves
 

To many spams!
4/5 times a day if I'm lucky!

Anyone knows a better service?

Try changing your icq details to female as icq spammers often use software that looks at users info. I get 1 every few weeks.

... just change your privacy/security setting and disallow any incoming event for people not within you list.

Disable the option that people can see your status off the web. It helps ! :thumbsup

I was getting 10-15 a day (low UIN #), and it got too be too much.

Like previously stated, dissallow incoming messages from unknown users, make then attempt to add you first.

Went from 10-15 spams a day, to zero.

That doesn't work - I have lways been registered as Female (obviously) but lately I seem to be getting more spam every day
It's up to like 50 a day now

I've only been spammed once or twice on ICQ but it hasn't been an issue. My problem keeping ICQ up and connected....At least once a day my icq just shuts off for no reason...what a pain in the as that can be. I like MSN messenger...

I was getting like 20 a day they have died off to maybe 1 a week now I didnt change anything though


maybe ICQ is getting smart
