atleast people are reading...I watch the movies and read other books but I am not going to slag anyone off for reading. A lot of this anti-adults reading the books thing is snobbery and often from people that don't read any books on their own anyway.

and when someone comes along and write material like harry potter, that can touch both adults and kids on the exact same level at the exact same time...that in itself, is magical and amazing, and should never be knocked

fairy stories piss me off. Im 18, i would love to enjoy reading that sort of crap but i can only read autobiogs and such, i started this thread because my mums mate was staying up so she could go and buy the book at 12.01 from tesco and start reading that night.....that is sad....grow up and stop believing in wizards wankstains

I am not really a big fan but I have no problem with adults geeting hooked with harry potter. They're free to do what makes them happy.

Books AND porn are about a fantasy world in the mind of the viewer/reader.. If that world makes someone happy then I'm all for it.. :-) I own all 6 of the Harry Potter books and my girlfriend and I have both enjoyed them very much..
