Belinda and I went to SF too. But we had a different agenda. We took my son on a tour of the USS Pampanito (a fully restored World War II submarine):

And then went on a tour of the aquarium at Pier 41 where we saw lots of sharks, rays, large octopus, etc.

What a great day!

octopus are fuckin nutty arent they, how they can change shapes like a puffer fish and how they change coolor.....all around weird fuckers, and squid.....also very werid

My son (age 5) really wanted to see the octopus before we went in. We were told they like to hide in rocks and we MIGHT get to see them. But as we entered the tunnel a big one decided to swim right up to him and climb over the tunnel right above his head. It was perfect! It looked just like that first pic you posted.

right on....sealife is crazy.....

I toured the hunt for red october sub in portland a few years back....wasnt as big as the on you went on but neat....confined :winkwink:
