Cool flames. What kind of R/C car? We just bought a gas powered truck... can't think of the damn company that made it... grr.

That truck is a HPI Savage 4.6 Big Block... (about 3hp!)

that trucks hot ... i just got one for my son and i to fuck around with ... i got one ready out the box and paid $460 with everything ... i'd have to beleive you have over a $k into that one ...

It sounds like you might be runing a bit lean. Do you check your engine temps? Also, how new is the motor? Do you use a "afterburn" oil after every run?
