Hey hey hey. The tgp I submit to only accept the minimum of 10 movies. There is nothing I can do about it.

10 thumbs averaging 50k each
1 76k graphic
1 32k graphic
2 37k graphics.

If you want to convert good then put "$39.95 per month" on your gallery. However, the bank doesn't cash a 1:20 ratio. Conversions mean shit.

You've got 750k to 800k worth of graphics and images to load off a free host. No one's even looking at your gallery except for people on DSL or cable, therefore, no one is clicking anything and you aren't converting anything.

your movies are way to short make them longer and your conversions will get better !

I have my own dedicated for that; it also has a bunch of sites on it though.

There are things I like about the gallery... and things it seems to lack.

Layout is ok...

293K is a huge file size for a 3 second video clip.

The obvious here is... You are not talking to the surfer. Seduce them... get them horny... Tell them what they can get.

First rezise them cuz the originals are 3 times bigger then what you have on that page.

Thumbs of that size shouldn't be bigger then 5kb
Plus the girl in red is 125kb or so.

Whenever you see only one recip. banner on a gallery, always ask yourselft, is this person using a 404 redirect script?

I can resize,change compression etc...

I have it installed on my server and on my windows machine.

it's command line but you can change compression on all jpgs
in a dir with this command "mogrify -quality 70 *.jpg"

or you can change size like this "mogrify -geometry 150x150 *.jpg"

Holy shit that site loaded slow on a 56k... get some compression utilities. Like at download.com if your not willing to spend some $$ for something like adobe image ready.

yea of course its best to offer 20 mb movies instead of 300kb ones.. or even FULL MOVIES while youre at it. no cutting even - just upload and risk the $100,000 bandwith bill..

I am so damn sick of all the "movie galleries" I see on the big MGPs with 2-10mb movies each, 90% illegal content and hosted on AOL :Grrrrrr

btw.. yea get a home ftp software or apache / sambar and serve the clips off your comp, worked really well for me with 50kb/s upload. most of the users wanting 300k clips actually are on 56k modems still.

im doing pretty bad too, maybe they turn up the shave script for the 2nd quarter.. I always do better with topbucks at the beginning of the month (for some reason)

My topbucks ratio from Jan 1-13 was 1:190.. from Jan 24-today is 1:590
I was averaging 3-5 signups a day and now it has really slowed.
Must be compensating for the 10 signups I got on the $75 day :)
