Anyone use time warner cable / road runner?
 

I am moving and where I am moving to that is the best package internet place I could find

I can get Digital cable , cable internet , phone with unlmited longdistance , dvr on the cable with every channel
for 159$

Any use them ? Hows it rank?

We have Road Runner at home... no complaints. Never used the VoIP phone before, though.

thats the only thing I am really worried about
how there digital phone service is

I want to have everything in one package

but after that im happy as fuck with there system

a friend of mine uses the voip with roadrunner in austin. he says it sucks. not sure where your moving to though

Okay, take it from a guy with 30+ years in the telecommunications business.

There is a reason why there is a phone company and a cable company. Time Warner is great for Internet and cable TV, but if you want phone service, go to a phone company.

I was just talking to an old friend last week that is a supervisor at Verizon, and VOIP is nothing but a PITA for them and the customer.

Besides, how are you going to call and complain when your Internet drops if your phone is on the same circuit?

I have everything with them, phone, internet and digital cable I hate it. :( The internet is slow, the phone is ok sometimes but real bad others and the digital cable is ok but they will lie and add money to your bill.

I've got cable and broadband through timewarner, but my voip is with AT&T. It's all auto rebill and works out to be about $100 a month for all combined. Haven't tried timewarners voip because it was more expensive, but I couldn't be happier with AT&T.

Time Warner internet and cable tv is pretty good. Its better than Adelphia - alot more options like movies on demand (free if you have hbo, cinemax, etc) Plus alot more payperview options and more HD Channels.

Im stuck with Adelphia and it sucks. I'll probably get a DSL package elsewhere for backup internet...

I just got 2 cable connections at my second house. I get around 5mbit down... digital cable blah blah blah. They installed it, I went home to my first house to login remotely, one cable wasn't responding... went back to the house, the brand new modem wasn't working. Had the same problem with a different modem last year. Called them... 10 days for an appointment. Blah blah... This is my 6 cable connection with them. I had connections at another house last year. They're pretty good but their Toshiba modems SUCK!
