It's all a matter of perception, I know a lot of people that think Guy X is a playa when there's 400 others that don't.

Personally I think it's up to what they've taken from their career in this industry, whether it be knowlege or fortune, better yet a combination of the two. I'm fortunate enough to know my idols in this industry.

A Playa has achieved a certain level of financial success and is well respected among other Playa's. The money part isn't as important as the person part. If a person carries a silent confidence and can hang with the crowd all night, he's probably a Playa.

There's lot's of different kinds of Playa's in our industry, some have nothing to do with sign ups, nothing to do with content but they still make money utilizing the services one can offer to a webmaster.

So, in my opinion, I'd have to say RogerV is a Playa who's definitely stepped his game up. The ladies that follow just make Roger a Mac Daddy Playa. RonC, Sweet T, Chris M, JB are all true MAC DADDY Playa's.

As for me, I'm an undercover Playa. I see the game all around me, I just prefer not to have the ladies all around me, they might cut themselves.

I think it all of the above but it's also a life style ... i guy can be very good at this and make money but only does it part time is not a playa in my eye's ... I live adult 24/7 .. sometimes i make big cash ..some months i take less so i can support new projects .. it's about being in the game full time and getting your hustle on. i think a lot of us work hard but we are beating the system when it comes to a 9-5 with a tie. I make my own hours .. pay my bills ..bank a bit and enjoy life .. all off the game ... that's a Playa in my eyes.

Honestly,

I think what makes you a player in this industry is just that, how well you play the game..

If you are able to get out there, network, make important decisions (the right ones), get shit done, and you can get in with people easily who are willing to help you out along the way and that help that you get from those people makes you an asset then that makes you a player.. In chess without certain pieces in the game there is no chance to protect your King and Queen...

Having a giant wallet does not mean you are a player in my opinion, because there are plenty of people out here that do not know shit and have made money off the real assets in their company..

Player is a whole attitude anyways... But when it gets down to it in the end you gotta be willing to walk the walk as well..

Also people respect them for who they are and what they have done to break out of the matrix.
