I think all organized religion is a cult. This Scientology is big business. I can't see how anyone could take the rantings/ramblings of a Sci Fi writter so seriously. Scares me!

Any belief system that deviates from the norm is classified as a cult. Scientology is no more or less crazy.

i wouldn't call wicca a religion.

wicans believe in what is tangible (sun, earth, wind, water).

religions (such as believing in an intangible and unproven god) are a joke imo.

i only believe in what i can touch, taste, and see and i'm sorry but i have never seen an alien and i have never seen god, so i believe in neither until otherwise proven.

Dianetics (the first 'system' followed by many others) is one of the brainfarts released by Sci-fi writer L.Ron Hubbard. Imagine; a pack of crack wacko sitting around a table, carving up lines coming up with something that is now taken way too seriously.


The system is very deceptive and teaches their sheep how to take over companies, along with many other evil tricks.

in LA you cant mention the word scientology w/o turning heads,they are big business for sure and besides from us jews,they own all of hollywood.what kind of religion makes you buy yourself in?

Everyone of them - every religion expects their 'children'or little lambs to sacrifice something beside sin. Most simply want money, others, your soul ... and the really fucked up ones want to borrow you child's chest so they can strap a boom-boom to it.

If a person feels they simply MUST put faith in 'something', how about putting it in yourself? (or Buddhism.)

even though i SOMEWHAT believe in a few things they do, i would say they're more of a cult. if you have to (or just want to) try to change other peoples opinions & beliefs & "join you", thats a cult. i dont care what its for.
