I was looking at a BMW but......
 

It was hit from behind so I don't think I'll be getting it. What are you thoughts on getting a car that had been hit?

I'm sooooo mad, I want that car.

I wouldn't buy it. The rear end hit can cause stress damage to the frame that is hard to notice. That car will probably have tons of problems.

I love my BMW! Is the damage noticable or did they do a good job at rebuilding it? I would say go for it and try to get a huge discount. :thumbsup

yup or the subframe. Itll be half an inch shorter you wont see it but itll drive like hell. Plus cost a fortune to repair.

You can see the gap on the trunk, my landlord who's friends with the guy selling it said I would be better off keeping my car. I had an Audi and loved it but I did get a few speeding tickets, not that an Audi is the same as a BMW.

LOL, not for me(I have big boobs :winkwink: ). I have a great guy to work on it, he was the Head Mechanic at VW for 17 years and has had his own shop for 20 years.

exactly. non visible damages are the worst. Ive had a vw hit from the back, frame was 2 inches shorter (wasnt a soft bump), couldnt see it unless you knew, the wrinkels were in the boot : $12k damaged.

just save a bit longer and buy a good one it is worth the waiting and the money. running every week to the garage is also no fun
