Mails.in just sold for $24,000 on Sedo.

The .in market is soaring already as many of us predicted.

Might have been bought by someone who had emails.in or something similar in non-plural and wanted to cover every base.

Indians are PISSED because Americans came in and bought all of their domains...

I read a story on it and one of the registrars let it out that most of the domains were bought by American webmasters who also bought domain names for adult websites.

This sale was the highest known so far, which doesn't mean that there haven't been some higher ones which just didn't get out to the public.

Why the hype about .in and not .cn??? Isn't China growing at a much faster rate?

China is still a communist country. Which means you have to be very careful about what you put on the web and what not.
