need script to change html on multiple sites....
 

i need to change out some affiliate IDs on a bunch of sites...will take a LONG time by hand....i've seen a couple of scripts but nothing that great. anyone know of a script to do this quick and easy?

you don't need a script for that. just DL the html and open'em in note pad. press ctrl+h to do a find and replace and click replace all. then replace the old html files.

problem is i have 50 URLs with multiple pages to change. that method will work fine...just take a looooong. time.

AmigoP - i've seen another utility by the same guys...all work off of my computer.

was basically looking for something that could FTP in and so it on the fly on the server...

thanks over38! i ran across that script and didn't know how good/bad it was....prob going to buy it.

crap - that program only gives you a license to run it 1X per domain for $25! so it would cost me $1,500 to run it on all 50 domains i need changed....gotta find another way...

just think, in the time you've wasted looking for a script to do it you'd already be done changing it by hand.
