SEO for a mainstream Site?
 

Does Anybody here knows who can do some SEO for an e-commerce site im about to start? its a Jewelry site with 18karat and 24 karat gold as specialties.. how much will it cost me also?

Use a SEO friendly shopping cart script, one that allows title of product in the title and meta tag descriptions, keep changing templates till you find one that works with a few products, then the rest will trickle in, there's no science only common sense

but i want to have good ranking for related keywords.. and i bealive its not as simple as what you said

For anyone worth talking to and KNOWING you're hearing the truths, i would recommend swami if he has the time, and your looking at about 250-300 an hour for consultations with him.

Unless you are really short on money pay someone to help you out. You will spend a year before you really get SEO nailed down if you don't. Some of the best SEOs are on this forum (and that doesn't include me by a longshot.)
