because a $300 badge for a model/talent is appalling regardless of the finacial standing of any company to say the least.

How well the Miami show goes could be a bust for Vegas and the future of your shows....

dude if you cant afford 300$ for a tradeshow. you dont belong in this biz. its about making new relationships. new partners. not meeting hot girls. yes you have good times. but its about establishing relationships.

I say give it a chance.... let it be a failure if it's goign to be a failure. They'll learn and changes will be made.

Here's the problem... what do you define as a booth girl? Can you have a booth boy? Should every booth get 4 free "bunny" passes even if they don't bring a bunny?

I can just see the fun this would open - suddenly Sleazy and Juicy would be someone's free booth bunnies. No way to say they are NOT. Considering the show this time isn't just a "floor" but an event... pass required to be anywhere in the event.

For VALID booth bunnies, I don't object to a reduced rate, but already booth space comes with some free passes... how many more should there be?

Jonesy, I just want to let you know I read you loud and clear! Thank you for your feedback, this IS being addressed.

That said, RawAlex brings up PART of the complication in all of this. This is far more complicated than it may appear so I'm not just going to throw out an- 'oh right, sorry, yes, we'll change that' to you.

The folks at Internext are very much aware of the appeal of pretty women (and pretty men for some) We've already implemented a solution to bring guests into the facilities in the evening as a response to this issue. With regards to day-time attractions, bring me a busload of 30 stunning women and we'll definitely talk... otherwise, we're still chewing on this but it is unlikely to be changed for this year; there'll definitely be something worked out for next year but with a few weeks to go before the show now it would be wholly unfair to start charging less for some when others have paid full-price. I, personally, will NOT support Internext doing that.

I do want to point out, also, that I (also personally) think you're blowing this out of proportion... there WILL be women at the event. Sponsors always receive free badges that many allocate to models... And hey, there are actually a few good looking women in the industry you know.

im not blowing it out of proportion, just comenting (and a cheeky one :winkwink: ) on what im reading from attendees and the rule set forth by AVN about guests.

nightime passes? isnt the tradeshow during the day?

i understand changing things last minute is complicated but rules can be amended somewhat especially when paying clients are voicing theyre not happy.

its about one rule so your underlying tone about it being a big deal in ammending it is well, lame and really shows what AVN is about.

im well aware of the good looking women that work in the indusrty but thats not what were talking about here.

if i showed up with a 30 stunning girls there shouldnt be any discussion other than a hello thanks for bringing the girls and heres your passes and bar comps.
