Anyone watched War of the Worlds?
 

damn that movie sucked balls.

I mean the movie itself was ok up to the end, nice effects and everything...

but the ending just gobbled some hairy horse balls.

The movie had great effects! and was not bad at all! The ending was no surprise! it ended exactly true to the original story and the 1953 film! There were other obvious flaws but the ending was a bit weak!

Why Spielberg felt that he had to let the "Jerk Off" son live is beyond me! Endings don't always need to be happy! after all a billion plus people were alread dead at that point!.... :2 cents:

I mean wtf, there was such a huge explosion there and he came off safe and sound and somehow got to his mom also.. :/

I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one thinking this.

Now I know why the whole Tom and Katie publicity stunt was done...so Tom wouldn't have to talk about how shitty the movie was when he was out promoting it.

The start was quite entertaining especially on those lightning scenes and the start of the attack. It's really the ending that sucks.

The ending is as in the book. Why make a film from the book and change the ending ?

Since its a remake of an older film, then we can not really put the blame on Cruise or Speilberg if the movie was a piece of shit.

I was able to watch it and could give a thumbs up!!!
The cast and crew made a good job on effects and cinematography.

i agree on the end part. it reminds me of ID4.

read more and heard lots of people not really satisfied with the movie, i bet they were
expecting more with the success of Batman Begins. Can't really blame them.
