In what way knowing such information (result of a crapload of variables hence useless for comparision) will help you?

i usually average 5 cents to 10 cents per click depending on the sponsor and traffic type.

More typical of everyones experience. Then some a lot worse. Anyone can put up a site and make a sale by luck of the draw. Then have a great conversion ratio.

If you super target your traffic, the obvious, you do better.

Not gonna risk $500 on a pissing contest that in the end I wouldn't really believe anayway. So Brand0n at your request, I'll shut the fuck up.

Check this. I've been pushing cams for a good 4.5 years. I promoted epic recently and did 1:400 with 1 traffic source. Same models to mtree cams doing 1:30. If you are doing 1:5 you are either spamming, qualifying to shit and back which makes your stats worthless, or both.

that's why i started computing my per click every so often. it really gives you the most accurate representation of how the sponsor does.

Computing ratios from hits to your pages instead of clicks to sponsor is a more accurate way to track your campaigns.

10000 hits and 300 clicks with a 1:20 ratio compared to 10000 hits and 2000 clicks with a 1:100 ratio for example.

You should be able to do atleast .02 a click, and more if you geo-ip filter your clicks.

But it all depends on where the traffic is coming from. If forced exit traffic, I doubt you'd do .02 a click.

this is very true, however at this time i have been far to lazy to install my stats script on my hosting. ;]

i actually average 36.6 cents per unique with you guys. :pimp

pussyluver 07-13-2005 04:58 PM

That's great and have had results like that for short periods with a sponsor or two. Just can't sustain it.

if you dont qualify your traffic thats your mistake. all my surfers are made aware way early in the game that if they are looking for the goods they are going to pay.

and i dont spam thanks

and tranza, same bet goes for you. money where your mouth is. 500 bucks paypal says thats what im making, if not more per click.

Oh I get it. A 2nd tier text link.

"This cost like hell, some of the models are asleep or reading. If you pay them well, they'll actually talk to you and then you can get off." So it's like a second tier click?

Now it makes sense! Thanks for the advice!

seems to be a fuck of alot more productive then

"its all free! you dont have to pay a dime! come see me now live! hell, we will pay you!"

as far as cam traffic goes, being so saturated, i look at it like this. to sale anything you need to prequalify, then qualify, present a product and close the deal. that model works well for me, and i dont have the crazy %s i hear so many people bitch about.

i guess in the long run it works out about the same. you have a 1:500 ratio and have 20,000 hits. i have a 1:5 ratio and 20 hits.

my stats just look better. :winkwink:
