Wireless internet service

I'm looking at verizon wireless internet service, seems to have the best coverage. Alot of you travel with laptops, what wireless services are the best in your opinion?

I like t-mobile, but I'm sure there are better ones

Verizon only has the high speed wireless in a number of cities, the rest of the country is dialup speed. Assuming thats what you are looking at, I have Nextel Internet service through my phone. One less item to carry. Coverage is pretty decent, seems to work everywhere, and is unlimited, but slow as fuck like all (pre broadband) wireless.

I had Verizon wireless for my laptop a year ago. I live in Denver (A pretty major city 2million people) and the coverage was horrible. It was about the speed of dialup. I would encourage you to take advantage of the 15 day trial... I cancelled after 11 days. It has been a year now, so maybe their coverage is better now.

Verizon or Sprint would be your best bet. Most areas are dial-up speed but both companies are pushing hard to have broadband wireless ASAP. I know Verizon has a few broadband spots here in Silicon Valley and Sprint told me the whole area (SF Bay) would be broadband access by October with them.

verizon is mos def the best... t-mobile is the most affordable

t mobile for speed and verizon for coverage

I just spent the past 12 days in limbo moving from my old house to the new one and had to use tmobile in the interim.... if you're not in a "hot spot", the connections can be worse than dial up! However, the price was right and the customer service was actually awesome.
