She should have gone with him, the manager would have testified that there was no $20 in the drawer, the tape would have been pulled and she could have then filed for false arrest...still got $60K without all the pepper spray hassle.

An Ohio police officer is out of a job today, after a fight with a fast-food worker over a bill.

The Dayton Police Department has fired officer Michael McDonald for unacceptable conduct.

Police say McDonald used pepper spray on a 17-year-old worker at a Wendy's restaurant in February after a dispute over his change. He claimed he had given her a 20-dollar bill. She said it was a ten.

He arrested her, but when she wouldn't go with him, he sprayed her.

McDonald was found innocent last month of assault charges. But a police department investigator is quoted in the Dayton Daily News as saying McDonald now says he may not have given a 20 to the girl after all.

The cop was not fired nor suffered an actions from this incident, BUT he was later fined ( and i think did jail time ) for something totally unrelated

Girl did her job fine.. cop was a dick. First didnt know what bill he gave, then didnt believe anyone, then took the law into his own hands (yeah I know, he's a cop, but it's improper as all hell).. Then he puts the girl in the hospital.. Should have been fired.

You are correct sir. If the drive through girl was blond it would not have escalated. The manager and video camera indicated the officer was wrong, he pepper sprayed (re: assault) and arrested her because of her complexion.
She is 17 years old, working at a drive through and refused to be treated like a criminal based on her appearance. :2 cents:
