Do you think a program that do this is professional?
 

I've made a constructive criticism to a sponsor and he has just deactivated my account. Would YOU trust such a sponsor?

This is what I said to him (my exact word): Can I ask you a favor? Could you try to send less e-mails to your affiliates? It's really annoying getting e-mails as often as you guys send them.

This is his reply: we just deleted you from our list

AND: Don't worry you never get anymore e-mails from us..EVER

we checked your affiliate ID...you never sent a click since Jan 05

so you're now out.

There's a reason why I never sent any traffic to this sponsor. There's also a reason why I wanted to be his affiliates. But after getting this kind of response I guess I'll have to say: your loss. I'll start a thread with my stats later today.

They send 1 e-mail every 2-3 days.

Not to mention most days they fuck up and end up sending more than 1 e-mail.

I get an email from the almost daily, I too find it very annoying!

I was actually wondering how many i should send out? once a week or only if I have an anouncement?

That's nothing, my buddy just got dropped from a major program because he sent 2 signups on a bonus day with a 1:8 ratio. They said he was cheating. It's a sponsor he's sent nearly a hundred signups to in the last year. How the hell can you tell a person is cheating from 2 signups?!

SicCash canned me last year after I had send a whopping 8 SU in a 3 month period and 3 charged back. They said since my chargeback ratio was over 1% my account was cancelled. Now how can you tell ANYTHING by 8 fricken sign ups? Hell ONE chargeback would have out me over the limit. I e-mailed them asking them to explain to me how it is MY fault people charged back? After all I just send them the people it's THEIR job to not over-promise and under-deliver. Then they e-mailed be back threatening to contact all the major sponsors and let them know about me and have them cancell my accounts. Funny how ARS and Pimproll and others have never had any problems with me.

Based on the text you provided, that is beyond unprofessional, no matter how you look at it.

One good thing about what transpired, you now know they only care about certain web masters.

No kidding web masters get sick and tired of sponsors.

That's fucked up. I mean sure, you've got to make sure you're not misleading the people you refer about the site, but that's about all you can do.

that's extremely unprofessionial. I have my opinions on a couple sponsors mentioned above but i'm just keeping my mouth shut so they don't deactivate my account

No of course I wasn't. That's a stupid thing to do. If I did as soon as the surfer went to the tour he would see I was full of shit and not even sign up. Their sites weren't being too profitable for me anyways so no big deal I just thought that was bush league to threaten someone like that. Funny thing is in their cancellation letter( the first one ) they said I could sign up as an SicCash affiliate again if I wanted too. WTF is that shit?

I've been using BGB for a while now on one of my sites. Haven't had any problems with emails.

no hits at all since jan 05? maybe if you contacted them and said why your not sending hits for a while they would have kept it open.

Sounds like the person that did that should have taken a deep breath before killing your account. Some people get irritated and act on impulse.

Should I name that sponsor or you guys got who it is by now?

Once every 2 weeks would be more than fine and make sure every email has tools to make them money such as the newest galleries and good tips on how to convert your sites.

Sounds fucked up to me.
Side note:
I dont feel comfortable asking sponsors for anything much less doing business with them unless I've met the owner, affiliate manager or rep in person or at least had a positive personal referrence from someone I trust who is doing business with them. Usually seems to help eliminate much unwanted drama I think. :2 cents:

2 months, all bgb sites, 7 rebills

He posted katesplayground (you know the YUMMY girl with the BIG err ok you get the idea) :

14 days (!) 73 rebills

Not just signups are wacky, rebills are hell and no I dont have anything against them, just stating facts.

RESPONSE:

We send affiliates e-mails when...
1. WE LAUNCH A NEW SITE (Figure an affiliate would like to know that)
2. WE have new promos to offer.

If you are getting the daily e-mails,it's because-

1. You put your e-mail address in our FREE PIC e-mail on the index of all of our websites. This is for surfers that want free pix.

Now we are locking down new terms and conditions. If you haven't sent a "CLICK" not a sale.... But a click you will be deleted from the account.

If this is too much to ask from a sponsor, then you are in a very fucked up world.

Tranza or tarzan whatever he called hasn't sent any clicks since we opened the program. Yes this is my loss :( I need more affiliates like you that send NO traffic ? I don't think so.

1. our tgp? dutchotties ? nndutch ? these TGPs are created by ppl who submit. We're not gonna DISapprove galleries submitted to our TGPs, it's the affiliate choice to promote a sponsor or not. We're not the ones to judge.

I mean wtf does Nina treat ppl like that? Youre treated as you treat ppl. I mean did someone call her names? No. A LOT of people just said ease down on the affiliate emails and a friendly sidenote once a while wouldnt hurt. But she and Simon too have choosen the join or die way.

There will always be n00bs who are amazed by the 17,97 sale theyve made and forget retention sucks. Please understand I dont WANT bgb retention to suck, its bad if that happens and yes we had that too with sites and they closed simple as that. You want the best for your aff, not just the initial but 6 months later as well. So : we all gave positive feedback. And they couldnt care less and kept yelling. And now a lotta affiliates decided to leave. In fact 99% of the nonnude community decided to stop pushing them cause of the way they got treated.

And what do they do. Shout more. Shame, their girls are nice. The sites are ok, payout is cool, but damn the way they treat ppl is so disgusting.

I asked them to stop e-mailing me a while back and they kindly removed me off their list, was getting maybe one e-mail a week or so, as for sales i still promote them and they are still coming, and rebills i don't look at those pieces of shit anymore they suck ALL ACROSS THE BOARD OF WHAT I PROMOTE :),
