I know a few girls who are making about $2000 a month, and I know a couple who make over $25.000 a month. So it all depends! One of the girls who makes the $25+ was doing all the marketing herself and without affiliates.

care to elaborate? i think ill be good at everything but marketing, but i open my own affiliate program, and others will hopefully promote it

our solo girls are making enough that they do not have to have a 9-5 job. their sites are earning more than enough for them to live off of very comfortably :thumbsup

but we normally will not give a girl her own site unless we believe it will make that kind of money.

every situation is different. also have to consider will the girl be on a pay-per-shoot basis or get a percentage of the revenue the site generates. and her level of involvement in the site is something to consider also.

like someone said earlier, there are many, many factors to consider.

It's not too old, but if you're not fucking and sucking, don't expect to be at the higher end of the money spectrum.

If you're willing to do cam shows and behind the scenes shoots, have a strong presence on your site, and of course the men find you attractive yes you can make a lot of money. If you have questions and are actually serious about doing something contact me.

9 out of 10 people that you expose your idea to will be negative and discouraging. And normally that includes well-meaning" family and friends too.

The key for you is to find your audience, find what makes you unique in this global internet market. Then work as hard as you can to keep that market happy and in love with your site.

You should spend a year building sites & promoting affiliate programs before you invest any serious money into your site. Read these boards, read mainstream boards, "study" other single girl sites. Figure out what works and what doesn't.

Before you decide to delve into a paysite, you should try promoting other people's sites to get a handle on the basics of promotion.

Maybe even start your site out on an AVS that has a Platinum or Quantum or whatever they call it top level...I used ProAdult, and they took care of my payment processing, hosting, and even some traffic, plus I could post on VoyeurWeb. Not too old imo - and looks pretty good too! Good luck SouthernGirl. If you work hard enough, you should be able to make some $$$ - how much depends on how hard you work on your site. Don't expect to make a website and earn $$$ the day after. It takes time. :)

The marketing is the most important aspect which in turn brings traffic. I have helped over 20 girls get started and not one has come close to making a living from it. I have been doing my own website for 8 years and have done very well myself with the help of my husband Joe who is a marketing wiz.

I have had girls steal ideas from me like a thief including my own sister-in-law then run after milking me for as much info as possible. :mad: Other girls have blamed me for their failure and have gotten very vicious. It's a tough business to make money in and I usually try my best to talk girls out of it because it takes way more work than anyone is willing to do. (10 - 15 hours per day)

In general advice given on GFY is not too valuable. Actually some gems of advice are available, but there is a very bad signal to noise ratio on GFY which makes the good advice usally go un-noticed.

In general it is true that single girl sites done by the model herself, do poorly. A variety of reasons - usually the model has an unrealistic opinion of her marketability, the web site is bad, the shooting is bad, no marketing or technical expertise, etc. I know about a dozen attractive models that bombed out on that route, often pressured by greedy webmasters and photographers who got high fees to make a site that sucked.

The correct answer really is, if you have a good idea, high marketing potential (you are hot) AND you can get shoots done cheap AND you can get them edited nicely AND you can get a good webmaster to design things AND you can get a good techie to hook you up with reliable cheap hosting AND you know how to promote porn - then you have a good shot, otherwise its an uphill battle. :2 cents:
