First time I've seen the police throwing bricks at protestors! LOL! Usually the other way around.

They use those friggin' shields like guillotines.

hmm seemed a tad overkill, but not completely out of touch with north american riot control.

Here instead of using so many men and sticks, they use beanbag guns , and rubber bullets, they cause the same injuries , but don't look as aggressive..

In a few cases in those videos , the rioters got what was expected.. ( i.e. rioter with a large club , moves aggresively towards a large group of armed officers.. , he gets thumped )

ha, how much do you want to bet? As I mentioned in the other thread with this video, this is South Korea, not North Korea. Years ago my wife was granted access to visit Pyongyang, there are no billboards or Tommy Hilfiger shirts in the North. This is the government we support in the South. It's always nice to assume that it's our "enemies" doing bad things, but the governments we support (read: control) are often just as bad if not worse.
