Firefox for me.

I still use IE, I don't have problems with it.

Mozilla for me.... just has some features that I'm used to that FireFox doesn't.

K-Meleon. It's number one. It has been for years, I'm too happy that 90% of the people never heard of it though, that means no viruses, exploits, or crapware.

Opera
Using IE is just asking to get your PC 0wned sooner or later. I have never been infected but I`m tired of having to clean my GF and family member`s PCs of every known piece of spyware shit.

Internet Explorer. My one and only browser. Actually I use Netcaptor, it's an IE add on that gives tabbed browsing, blocking etc.

Firefox is for people who don't know how to manage their systems :eek7 :)

Hmmm you use IE and I use IE and have no problems so is it IE problem or your GF and family members ignorance of thier computers. I find it funny how people spend hundreds if not 1000's of $ on a computer and take ZERO time and effort to even learn about the basic operation of it. If you buy a car and don't know how to drive is the car makers fault?

The reason other bowser haven't had as many issues( and FF has had issues by the way ) is because hackers and conmen aren't going to waste time on something very few people use. Trust me if FF was used by 50% of the people and IE was used by the other 50% both would have the SAME amount of issues.

Fact is if your girldfrien and family would use a firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware tolls they wouldn't have any issues no matter which browswer they used. But unfortunately most peole just use the free 30 day( or 90 whichever ) anti-virus subscription that comes with their computer and are too cheap to pony up the $30 once the subsciption is over then wonder why their computers are infected.

just to add up, i would give them some simple instructions to run anti-spyware programs on a weekly basis to prevent attacks and infections. it would make life for someone much more easier.

So what you and GatorB are saying is that it is OK that IE is full of security holes and that it`s the user`s responsability to keep spending money to buy anti-virus products?
Maybe we should take every non-tech user`s computers away....
Are you aware that there are many unpatched IE holes that can compromise your computer`s security?
I find it funny that people have become used to having to spend money on anti-virus,firewalls ,etc.It`s like its normal and that this was always the way computing used to work.
