0:20046 Anybody else seeing a slowdown on ccbill last few days?

Been getting rebills but no new sales the past few days across many different sponsors, anybody else seeing this? Sales have been about normal on other sponsors but I've just gone over 20k w/o any sales.

Basic_man 07-12-2005 07:21 AM

with all due respect, how many people have to say the same thing?? If you have looked into this issue system wide and have not found a problem. You or vette would probably be served to say so. The last few days this issue has been brought up ( sometimes polite like this , other times not as polite) continuous threads like this plant the seed that there is a problem in wm's heads.

myself I don't use CCbill sponsors for varioius reasons. So please take this as an impartial 3rd party opinion.

I appreciate your comments and I can ensure you that we have torn apart our system thoroughly looking for any conclusive evidence as to a problem but to no avail. In order to trouble shoot/investigate we need as many examples as possible and if someone is having an issue with our system we like to know about it.

Thanks Nylz, maybe it's just a few off days for my stuff. It's strange though since the traffic was sent to so many different sites.

xxxice 07-12-2005 09:17 AM

Thank you for your straight forward opinion. I have always recommended that if you think something is not working correctly, test it with your own card, or check the source of the signup page to make sure that the affiliate code is being passed through. When issues such as these are brought up, the test always seems to work, in fact, I have tested it with my own personal card many times. I think that at least part of the issue has to do with how we record stats, raw clicks?a different method than many other programs track. On an overall basis, things appear to be steady

GotGauge 07-12-2005 10:10 AM

Stop counting raw clicks! LOL

Pretty_Lara 07-12-2005 10:48 AM

our site selling yesterday about 1:1000 from tgp traffic .......20 21000 clicks

try new program and evrything will be ok ....

MrChips 07-12-2005 11:46 AM

fuck em off.

If you feel uncertain about anyone - then its ALWAYS BEST to fuck them right off - and spread your stats round as much as poss amongst friends.

Anyone youre worried about - fuck them.

Its the best way to be sure.

AmateurFlix 07-12-2005 12:46 PM

Well at Paul's suggestion I just purchased a subscription using my own card (he offered to refund it) and after about 15 minutes it did show up in the stats. I guess this is just some kind of dry spell - although with the hits going to about 15-20 different sites with the majority of hits going to 3-4 sites that have historically converted very well, it just seems strange. And this was a mixture of traffic from TGP galleries, FHG's on my site, s.e. hits, blog hits, etc, so it's not just one traffic source. It's been quite a while since I've had a day without sales on ccbill and a very long time since it's been more than one day in a row (until now).

MrChips - I send hits to quite a few different programs for this reason, although ccbill programs definitely get a big chunk of the hits. Part of the problem with spreading out to other processors though is that most of the non-nude or softcore teen sites with 2257 exempt content (which is all I promote now) do go through ccbill, though I'd like to find some that do not, just to as you say spread it out a bit.
