I just got a new laptop (and a VERY nice Sony MVC200 Digi Cam)
and the stupid fucking thing has XP on it

ehh XP seems alright to me. Better than 98 or ME :P

I like XP - you can use "classic windows" colors too

If there is a problem with support for important apps you can customise the OS extensively. Sorta like running OS9 apps on OS10. Just look at the documentation. XP is better than 2000 if you can customize it to the way you work and supports so much more.

Yeah, I like XP as well. You just gotta tweak the FUCK out of it to make it look like windows 98...

If you've got the CPU cycles to spare check out WindowBlindsXP from www.stardock.com - awsome skinning tech and actually integrated with WinXP's theme services (Stardock actually licensed the technology to M$).


Machine, you can use as many OSs you can think of on a box with XP installed. M$ aint THAT powerful. :disgust
