Ugh, it bothers me so much when people constantly type "your" when they mean "you're" and vice-versa.

What I love is when an american who has lived in America his whole life doesn't know the difference between "your" and "you're", but the guy from Paraguay who's only known the English language for a year, does.

Seriously , i dont think anyone doesn't know the difference.

I say them both from time to time.. Usually i say "your" when i should use "you're" in cases where i could care less about the person reading it. Infact , often its a case of "dumbing it down", so i would use it in a case where the intended audience may be filled with idiots.

If you know the difference, why not use the correct word?

If you seriously believe all of the idiots here who say "your" instead of "you're", "their" instead of "they're" and "loose" instead of "lose" actually know the difference, you're beyond help. As stated earlier, if you prefer to look like an illiterate moron for the sake of saving the nanosecond it takes to type the extra keystrokes in the correct spelling of a word, then that's your call. Just don't expect to be regarded as the all-knowing oracle of knowledge if you can't even spell.
