I feel your pain. I didn't want to neuter my boy dog either, but it's healthier for them in the long run and won't change them at all.

only greedy vets say that.

Heh, normally I would agree with you, except my sister happens to be a Vet.

I know in female dogs, if you get them spayed before their first heat (about 9-10 months) they are something like 100 times less likely to get Ovarian cancer.

In male dogs, it totally removes the risk of testicular cancer as well as substantially lowers the risks of some other less common cancers.

Studies show that male dogs neutered young grow to be just as large as un neutered dogs. I argued this with my sister to death, and let my Rottweiler grow up with his boys. He turned out to be 150 pounds. Now she'd argue one example is not an accurate sample, I say psah .. They aren't ALWAYS right. :winkwink:
