I have been getting sites indexed on Google within 12 hours!
 

Im sure a lot of you have already found it - google site maps. For those that havnt it works well and a few utilities are available to map your site now - and that makes things easier.

I hope that link works.... Im logged in to google so Im not sure.

I haven't been very successful in getting sitemaps to do anything more than download the sitemap file, and its been several weeks since I've submitted. Doesn't seem to do anything more than get a Googlebot's attention to be honest.

I didnt do anything special..... I put the map and the site up yesterday and have 236 pages indexed today.

I was amazed. Maybe something has changed with the way it works recently?

i get my pages in dexed daily also... as long as it's linked, it's indexed...

I always thought it took days or weeks to get listed on google.... even with links.

I usually get the bot visiting quickly but never actually saw my pages listed that quickly before.

Was it an adult site?

they may not be listed high, but if you search very specifically for them, you will find them.

if your pr on a page is 0-10 it has been indexed. if it is still n/a, it proabbly hasnt

Fake adult blogs.... That could be the reason - anything with the word blog in it :)

I just added a fake TGP that I built over night. I will see what happens with that.... Ill let you know wiredguy

i dont think the sitemaps have anything to do with u listed in 12 hours tho...

Thanks for the info. As WG said, all it has done for the sites I have tried it on have been to get Googlebot to drop by very fast, I think two hours was the record but no apparent increase in indexing speed compared to linking to the new site.

I'll have to try it on some blogs now though. :winkwink:
