If you go to Yahoo and hit the travel button, put in that your dates are flexible... you can get some killer rates. It's the same DB as Travelocity.

The key to cheap travel is to be flexible.

Another key point to travel if you fly a lot is to accumulate air miles. I get several FREE tickets a year to Asia or South America (or where ever I want), and free upgrades just because my air miles are so high with United.

Around the world tickets are a good deal as well if you plan on doing a lot of international travel. You can ride business class to multiple cities (lots of choices) for about 4k.
