Ok super techno geeks, question about SSL

I'm looking to setup a server & have multiple ip's support SSL for each user, using each IP. Now theres existing software to set up socks servers, but i'm not looking to send out e-mail, i'm looking to setup a server where i can connect to say 12.11.11.11:80 as a proxy server then goto www.amazon.com, buy a book through that SSL proxy connection.

What software supports this function?

I know there are some uber g33ks out there who know the answer...so please fill me in, i would be most grateful. This will be used for peaceful purposes. :helpme

I could be off base here, but if I am reading correctly (mind I'm running on very little sleep.) The SSL connection you set up locally is to provide incoming secure connections only. I do not believe the SSL's will lend any further security purchasing on Amazon.

A person in say china, using their own SSL connection on their IP could be tracked if they were to say buy "Capatalism 101". By providing an open SSL connection for these people, it would be much harder for the chinese govt to track their sale.

Edit - nevermind that squid tunnels SSL connections, you're lokking for a man-in-the-middle deal.
